Analysis of my survey results

My results reveal that a majority of my target audience (61.45%) would prefer my magazine to be based on established artists, considering that the results are over 50% voting for established artists it has made me want to focus my magazine on mainly established artists as I believe it would appeal to a bigger audience.

My results show that the most significant choice was free concert tickets, over 80% of my audience chose this option with the second most popular being meet and greet tickets. My results showed the least popular options to be posters and head phones, by seeing these as the least popular has allowed me to know that I wouldn’t include these as a freebie within my magazine as it would have a negative impact on the amount of people purchasing my magazine.

From these two survey questions I discovered that a majority of my audience would like the magazine to be a monthly issue and feature pop, house and rnb genre music and artists. These survey questions also revealed that classical and metal music would be the least favourite genre to feature, so I have decided to not include these as they wouldn’t attract a large audience to my magazine and also that my magazine will be released monthly.

This results show that my audience would be interested in having their opinions shown in the magazine, so has made me consider putting in a page dedicated to just the readers opinions. The other survey question reveals that most my audience use facebook and instagram, seeing as these are most popular these are what I will most likely set up my magazine page on as the readers are more likely to interact.

These survey results show that a majority of people who carried out my survey would want my magazine articles to include a mixture of the two options. The results revealed that people were least interested in trivial questions so when writing my article I would include both but have a majority being about the artists music career.

These results show that it is clear that my audience would want my magazine to feature a variety of artists, this means in my magazine I will have artists from all different genres and age groups so that I would attract a bigger target audience as shown by my results.

This survey question revealed that technology has over taken the local super market, a majority of people who carried out my survey said they would prefer to purchase the magazine using as app, however a large group did also vote for purchasing it from a shop. These results have made me consider to have my magazine available in both the shop and an app, but maybe have more information in the shop issue than on the app and possibly even have a monthly subscription cost for those who want to use the app.
