Models

• The following Slides show an array of potential models that I would like to include in my magazine, whether they are in the front cover, contents page or double page spread.

• I will choose the model that I believe is most suitable for my front cover and main feature and use the other models in sub-images throughout my magazine.

Model Choice

• I have chosen to use Amber Batty for the model who appears in the front cover as well as the double page spread’s main image.

•This is mainly because Amber has bright blonde hair and a stereotype for blonde women is that they have fun. Being fun and partying is a large part of the nightclub and EDM scene so I think Amber is a suitable choice for my main model.

Locations

• The following slides show potential locations for my magazine images.

• I will choose the location for my front cover’s and double page spread’s main image and will use the other locations in the sub-images throughout my magazine.

Location ChoiceI have Chosen to use the green screen as the location of my front cover and main image in my double page spread. This is because the bright green is dramatically different from human skin colours and most clothing colours which will make it much more easier to separate the model from the background on Photoshop and place them in a chosen location. The benefit of the green screen is that I can choose from a wide variety of locations to put my model in without having to actually go to the location and take the photo. However, I have to make sure the lighting is appropriate whilst taking pictures using the green screen as there is a tendency for people standing in front of the screen to appear slightly green when the picture is taken due to poor lighting.
