Felting1. Place Tote and Handles in lingerie bag. Place in washing machine with a pair of jeans.2. Set washer to hot wash on smallest load. Fill washer adding 1 tablespoon of dish soap.3. Check progress after 10 minutes. Check progress more frequently after Tote starts to felt.4. Reset the machine, if needed to con-tinue the agitation cycle.5. Do not allow the machine to drain or spin until piece is the desired size, creases can form in the fabric during rapid spin cycle.6. When pieces has felted to the desired size, rinse it by hand in warm water.7. Remove excess water by rolling in towel.8. Shape Tote and stuff with crumpled newspaper to hold shape while Tote air dries.9. Hang Handles to dry.10. Let dry completely.11. Using sewing thread and needle, sew 2 Handle Tabs to inside of peaks on each side Tote as shown in photo.12. Sew button to side matching ch-15 sp on Flap for closure. C!
