Target audience

• Our target audience is aged at 16-23 year olds as we are able to research into what type of music they like.

• A lot of magazines have an older target audience so we feel we are targeting a different market.

• Also as we can relate to the age groups and know what people that age like and find interesting in a magazine.

How does music fit into their lives?

• Many people will share ideas and talk about music they’ve heard or enjoy.

• Every genre will fit into different peoples lives and for our magazine we will have a variety of genres to attract a wider audience.

• Music is everywhere and is available easily which makes it much more popular.

• Many people will listen to music everyday whilst working or even on the radio.

How will your magazine address their needs?

Our magazine will address the needs of our target audience by putting a variety of genres to appeal to a wider audience.

We could have the same feature each week for a different genre.

The audience will have their own input by doing a survey of what they would want to see in a magazine.
