Magazine Group

The Roles:

The magazine staff will create and produce a magazine that features inventions of the Industrial Revolution. The editor will be in charge of a consistent theme of fonts and colors. Individual page layouts may differ, but attention should be given to the whole of the magazine. (See Mrs. Fritts for formatting resources).

The Requirements:

The magazine will need to include feature articles about inventions, inventors, and the time period of the Industrial Revolution. All of the inventor groups for the class period need to have an informative article in the magazine. Pictures from the invention groups’ projects should be included. Other feature pieces like child labor should be included as well. Political cartoons, advertisements, games, and About the Inventor should help to make your magazine stand out.

At the Trade Show:

The magazine group will present a media advertisement that is a commercial for the people at the trade show to buy their magazine.
