Scott: To make children unhappy.

Summer? Why?

Scott: Izzy. Because she believes that

she is part horse, part woman.

Bart: Carl. He has crazy socks and he

is crazily skinny..

4. What bad habits do you have?

Emma: I suck my thumb.

Scott: I lie and bite nails.

5. You have access to a time machine; what

would you do and why?

Elisa: I would go to Paris in the 1930s.

Emma: I would go into the future to see what

my life would be like.

Emma: Australia.

Elisa: Berlin.

with the money?

Tom: I would spend it on charity or on travelling

around the world.

Bart: I would buy a theme park.

Emma: Channing Tatum, Zac Efron, Khloe

Scott: Kilt, laptop, books.

HYNGYS

I think everybody from Discovery School knows him. He is one of the most famous people here. Everybody knows his face and everybody from us really loves his face expressions when he tries to look angry or surprised. We had a lot of fun with him and everybody will remember. He is just an incredible guy with the best face ever!

COTT

Serra and Sude are the most popular sisters at Discovery Summer. They are really cool and they are always laughing. You can have a lot of fun with them and there English is soooo good. They are famous because they are not afraid of trying anything and also they are kind with everyone....... They are really cool guys.

Everyone knows him. The man with the skirt! The real Scottish man. He’s just famous because he is wearing a really nice skirt and he’s nice to everybody. And of course, he is the best Scottish dancer ever.

I like fish and chips because it is tasty. Fish and chips is famous food in the UK. I have not eaten it very often in Japan so I wanted to eat it before. The fish and coating is a bit tough but it is really good. And the fish is also good taste. The chips were crunchy and a bit salty. I think those two match very well. I want to bring it to Japan to introduce it to Japanese who have never eaten it. So, my favourite food is fish and chips. Written by SUZUKA.

I think the most delicious food was the Pasta. Because we could choose two sauces. For example a meat sauce and a car-bonara sauce. Which do you like meat sauce or carbonara? I have never eaten spaghetti Bolognese before and I found the meat sauce very yummy. I think that it fits the pasta perfectly, that is why it is my favourite sauce. But I have had carbonara before and I found this sauce quite thin and very smooth which made it tasty. It wasn't my favourite sauce because I preferred the taste of the meat sauce.

However, this one was nice as well. Written by CHISATO.

My favourite meal would be the vegetable korma, because au the vegetable was soft and cooked right and the rice was fluffy and nice to eat. It looked very appetising and it smelt great. The sauce was not too spicy, so it was easy to eat and good for those like myself who don't like spicy food. There was a large range of vegetables, so it had a different taste, to other vegetable curries that I have had. Written by FAYE.

Daniel and Vivienne They really love each other but they don’t like to tell everyone because it’s embarrassing. They are flirting with each other but believe me they are so cute together!

Matvey and Karina Matvey and Karina love like any other couple in D.S and you maybe have seen them hugging and kissing that is really what we called true love.....

Anton and Anna They are really cute together and although Anton is really tall they are really sweet together. They are in a relationship and they also show that in public and that’s why they really love each other.

HOW TO: ORIGAMI

CRANE

1. Fold in half diagonally. 2. Fold again in half diagonally. 3. Spred out from the inside and 4. Turn over. Fold again to make a small square. 5. Do the same as step 4. 6. Fold left and right corners to the center Line. And then fold top corner on the line 7. The figure should look like this. 8. Pull the bottom corner up and fold down Again some folds will be invited. 9. Turn over and do the same. 10. Now you get Crane base. 11. With the open end towards 12. Repeat step 11 for the other flap the left in the picture, fold in one tap in so that the edge lines up with the centre line. 13. Flip the paper over and repeat 14. Fold over one side. step 12 for the flaps on the Other side. 15. Fold up the top flap on end, 16. Fold two of the flaps over and repeat So

Discovery summer school was founded in

2002 by Jane Merrick and is now 10 years

old!

Discovery summer students has a lot of

courses and activities. It’s very funny and

enjoyable to spend part of your holiday at

this school.
