INTRODUCTION

• Purpose:– To review with leaders the projects, tasks and support I provided

during my intern period – To share what I have learned from my experiences– To outline how this experience has shaped my future goals

• Objective/Desired outcome:– To enable leaders to have a better understanding of the intern

experience

• Become familiar with tasks that are done in manufacturing areas

• Be available to readily assist wherever help was needed• Get involved in different ERG’s available at out site, and find

ways to incorporate it into my work

SAP/MES TRAINING

Objectives:• Create standardized WI’s for SAP and MES and consolidate them in a SP• WI’s were created according to input from investigators for basic transactions

they would like more training onDeliverables:• SAP/MES Training Tab on the Malvern Manufacturing SP where all the WI’s are

readily available to all employees

FINANCE SLOB REPORTS

Objectives:• Scrap all expired materials in SAP and MES • Create scrap forms for all expired materials• Keep SLOB reports up-to-date for Quarterly ReportsDeliverables:• System of bi-weekly scrapping of materials• SOP in progress

6S REVAMP

Objectives:• Implement organizational actions to improve overall organization of

6S and audit readiness• Automate 6S interface • KaizenDeliverables:• New 6S spreadsheet on the Operations SP, where it allows

employees to be up-to-date with actions required for audit readiness

ACTION TRACKER

Objectives:• Automate Action Tracker in order to better communicate accountable

persons when notifications are addedDeliverables:• New Action Tracker Spreadsheet on the RR SP, where email notifications are

automatically sent to all accountable people when notifications are added

MES DATA LOOK-UP

Objectives:• To look up data points in MES in order to identify

discrepancies in CIP/SIP times and steps• To look up sampling times for in-process-testing (pH, cond.,

osmo.)

Deliverables:• Data provided is being analyzed in order to make

improvements

UPDATING SOPs AND BR

Objectives:• Update any relevant SOPs or BR for change in bag size

Deliverables:• Updated SOP that results in a reduction of materials• Continuous Improvement

• Exposure to MES, SAP, VBA, and SharePoint• Tasks within the manufacturing area• Drug development• Credo-driven values• Working with a team• How to find your place

• Level of trust my peers had for my work• Hardest part was gaining access to software like MES and

SAP• Transition for new Co-Ops/Interns is highly recommended

– Hopefully coming soon with the ICA!
