I also have very good people skills and work well in a team or alone. Due to my photographic experiences I work accurately and pay attention to detail. I know it is important to be dedicated, reliable and trustworthy and I am self motivated. I feel I work well under pressure and to deadlines. SKILLS Communication: Based on my work experience I feel my communications skills are always improving and developing. In particular working prominently in customer facing jobs – including local restaurants and as a photographer for P&O Australia - helped me to learn how to deal with the public in a variety of situations, involving creating a dialogue with every customer I serve to give them the best experience possible. Problem solving: From my experience working with under-privileged teenage boys from New York City at summer camp in America in 2013, my problem solving skills have improved greatly. Understanding each child has a different way of looking at themselves, others around them and their futures was of great importance. Discussing and creating new ways of working through problems on a daily basis and giving the boys the tools in which to develop their own futures, helping further themselves as young adults as their own problem solving and communication skills improved. Team Work: Every customer facing job is heavily reliant on employees conveying a confidence in and extensive knowledge of their product/resource and themselves, giving the customer someone they feel they can trust. While working for P&O Australia I dealt with a quick turn around of people in a team of varying ages, experiences and nationalities, creating a dynamic and interchangeable work environment within which I had to adapt quickly to new management and personalities on a regular basis. Being flexible, creative and understanding to the needs and cultural differences of others was imperative to the success of our team throughout my 7 month contract. IT Skills: I have knowledge of, and am competent in the use of both Windows and Mac computer formats. I am confident with creating spreadsheets, power point presentations and word documents on both and also have a good knowledge of Photoshop, Lightroom and Darkroom programmes. I am very confident about using the Internet. EDUCATION Plymouth University 2011 to 2014: BA Honers Degree in Photography, graduated with a 2:1 level degree. Colchester School of Art and Design 2009 – 2011: National Diploma in Art and Design, specialised in Photography with the triple grade Merit Pass Pass.
