Made in South Africa

Baywear Clothing, a private company established in April

1952 by George Helliwell, is located in the city of Port

Elizabeth, which is located on the South African south east

coast. The city has an excellent modern harbour which

handles all the containers for the local automotive and other

industries as well as agricultural exports.

The modern 2850m2 facebrick factory houses a vertical

operation. Fabrics are knitted on a range of 80 body width

machines using locally and internationally sourced yarns,

primarily cotton, but also pure new wool and other fibres.
