    Abo te Building:Te building is set in an exceptionally attractive and importantlocation, having an impact on the ormation and design o Skopjes

    central city area. he building has two underground levels, aground oor, and seven oors. It has our vertical communicationlines, having two entrances at the ground level. In addition to theVIP oyer, on the frst oor there is an open space crossed by acommunication bridge.

    Te eighth building level is a at roo, i.e. a terrace withlanterns covering the open spaces in the building. Te terrace hasa wrought iron ence set above the building cornice. Te building

    is completed with a reinorced concrete cupola holding a ag-post.Te structural system is a reinorced concrete rame on the twoorthogonal directions. It should be underlined that the buildinghas technical and energy systems that are the state o the art inthe construction industry. Te most up-to-date and best qualitymaterials have been used or fnishing the walls, oors, ceilings,ences, while the aade fnish is harmonious in terms o proportion,symmetry, arrangement, relations between suraces and materials.

    Te rich and superb ornaments consist o high pilasters andcolumns, large cornices, arcs, cupolas and sculptures. Te 37 sculptureson the terrace represent world-renowned fgures o the world odiplomacy, each speaking the language o peace and development.

    Te sculptures on the aade and on the entrance porch areeatured with motis o traditional olk costumes rom neighbouring

    and other riendly countries with which the Republic o Macedoniacontinually develops ties o understanding and riendship.Te northern aade is enriched with traditional olk costumes

    o Iceland, Republic o Ireland, Andorra, Portugal, Luxemburg,Lichtenstein, Denmark, and Estonia. On the central part, thereare representations o traditional male and emale olk costumesrom various regions o Macedonia.

    Te southern aade is eatured with representations o tradi-

    tional olk costumes rom countries in the immediate and widerneighbourhood: Kosovo, Montenegro, Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia,Albania, then Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, urkey,Romania and Hungary. On the central part, there are representationso male and emale traditional costumes rom the Skopje region,Galichnik, and rom the Mariovo region.
