Nursing Home Ministry - (Naked and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me;...Matthew 25:36a) The River City Care Center, 921 Nolan St. will be visited on Saturday, Feb. 9th @ 10 AM, by the tribe of Issachar( Feb.). Visiting also on Third Saturdays of each month (Feb. 16th ) Normandy Terrace Rehabilitation @ 10 AM, 841 Rice Road.

Silver Saints (50 Plus unless you are a part of the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas trip) are having a potluck fellow-ship with games such as Black History celebration trivia, board games, etc., on Saturday, February 23rd, 5:30PM in the Roland Franklin Fellowship Hall. Since it’s Black History Month, you are asked to bring a soul food dish. Please coordinate the dish you will bring by calling or text with Yolanda Turner (210)393-8002, Jeanie Turner (210)385-5807 or Kenneth Carter (210)323-9047. The Silver Saints—Traveling to the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and Hoover Dam. We plan to travel to Vegas and return by air, departing on June 18th and returning on June 22nd. Each person is required to make their own airline reservations. Lodging has been arranged at the Rio, All Suites, Hotel & Casino. Twenty five (25) suites at a cost of $367.35 per suite for the four (4) nights stay have been reserved. This cost will accommodate one or two people per suite and includes the suite rate, resort fee and occupancy room tax of 13.38%. The suite can accommodate up to four people; at an additional cost of $120.00 plus tax for the third person and the same additional cost for the fourth person. Registration needs to be completed by May 19th. Travel to Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam will be by group bus transportation from Las Vegas and return on June 20th at a cost of $120.00 per person. Heart Health Awareness—Will be presented by Dr. Travis Batts, on Sunday, Feb-ruary 17th @ 9:00 AM. There will be no Fulfillment Hour on that Sunday for Adults. This will be in the Sanctuary. Also we are asking everyone to wear RED as we take serious our Heart Health on Sunday, Feb. 17th .
