From here you can go to the Tate Modern or Shakespeare’s Globe, or have a stroll along the south bank. Permanent exhibitions at the Tate are free, the Globe tour costs £13.50 (£11 students, bring your ID).

2 p.m. Legal London: tour of the Temple (meet at above café by 1:45pm)
3 p.m. John Soane’s Museum, 13 Lincoln's Inn Fields WC2A 3BP(meet at entrance or find us inside—tell them you’re with our group)
5 p.m. British Museum highlights, Great Russell St, WC1B 3DG(enter the Great Russell Street Entrance and go straight ahead—we will meet in the rotunda)
6 p.m. Drinks at the Holborn Whippet, 25-29 Sicilian Ave, WC1A 2QH
