M2M is stands for Machine-to-Machine .

M2M can be defined as the ability of mobile and fixed assets toexchange data with one another or with people or with company'smanagement systems in need of the information.

Initially derived from telemetry technologies and telematics,today's key elements of a typical M2M infrastructure systeminclude:� A field-deployed wireless device or group of devices capable

of exchanging data autonomously� Wireless network carriers in order to connect the device or

group of devices to a computer server or to another device� A software agent, process, or interface by which the data can

be analyzed, reported, and/or acted upon� A set of server based software end-user applications enabling

remote access to the related asset or group of assets

Potentially any exchanged data may be critical, hence highly time-sensitive and/or location sensitive. Therefore M2M systems are

designed to enable and facilitate remote Security, Safety, Control,Monitoring, Management, Comfort related to virtually any asset.W

Although, M2M Solution was established in 2004, it all started in 1997 whenthe current founder & CEO of M2M Solution (Mr. Olivier Courtade) createdBalease to develop telematics solutions for different markets.

Following 14 months of development, M2M Solution has delivered to Honeywella dedicated telematics portal known as ALARMEO. Such a platform thusenables Honeywell to deploy a Home Alarm commercial offer. In fact,Honeywell aims at shifting 30% of its total (670,000) stand alone alarms installedtowards an ASP based solution, in other words an estimated 220,000 subscribersby 2009 (exceeding a total revenue of € 5.2 M).

SPQR is the French regional press union. M2M Solution has provided the SPQRwith a platform enabling to monitor from a distance the content of dynamicdisplays located in strategic points of sale. This solution lies on an architecturecomposed of a GPRS Setup box and a set of ASP based applications allowing todynamically update content displayed on one or several screens via a securedFTP server connection (estimated deployment to reach 5,000 screens).

Hub télécom is the telecom subsidiary of the ADP Group. M2M Solution iscurrently delivering an end-to-end fleet management solution dedicated to Hubtélécom’s B2B customers. de Hub télécom . Based mainly on tracking and geo-localization functionalities, this solution is deployed on PC, PDA and Smartphoneinterfaces. Deployment is expected to reach 15,000 subscribers by the of 2008.

VIRBAC is a world leading veterinary pharmaceutical lab dedicated to animalhealth. M2M Solution is delivering a turnkey Pet tracking solution(www.backhomegps.com) consisting of a GSM-GPS collar and a full set of multi-lingual ASP based applications dedicated to support an internationaldeployment aiming at exceeding 100,000 subscribed dogs by the end of 2009.
