The following conditions of participation by the sponsor/exhibitor with the registration for the event in all respects are accepted as binding.

1. Registration RequirementsThe application must be filled out completely and returned, as an acknowledgement of these conditions of participation, to the organizer. Only by obtaining the confirmation e-mail is the application deemed as noted by the organizers.

4. Cancellation of EventsM2M Alliance e.V. is entitled to cancel an event for commercial reasons. In this case it will reimburse the attendance fees already paid. No further claims exist.

5. Usage RightsPresentations and event documentation are protected by copyright. Usage rights will only be transferred when the granting of the usage rights has been explicitly agreed in writing. The attendee is not authorised to copy licensed material that is provided for training purposes, or to make it accessible to third parties. Licensed material means data processing software and/or licensed data inventories (databases) in machine-readable form including the respective documentation. Photographs and video recordings produced at the event will be published in the scope of reports in M2M Alliance publications, in other newspapers and magazines as well as on the internet.

6. LiabilityUnless it involves fundamental obligations from the contractual agreement, M2M Alliance is liable for itself and its vicarious agents only for damage

that is demonstrably due to a willful or grossly negligent breach of obligation under the contract and is a typical damage within that what is foreseeable. M2M Alliance is not liable for conse-quential damage as a result of erroneous content of the contracts and seminars or the seminar documentation (e.g., with regard to correctness and completeness).

7. Payment ConditionsThe exhibitor and sponsorship amount is due immediately upon receipt of the invoice. In case of late payment, the organiser reserves the right to withdraw from the contract. Participation in the event/exhibition for non-payment of the invoice will be excluded.

8. Cancellation and Termination RightsThe exhibitor has no mandatory withdrawal or termination rights, after admission the exhibitor will be obliged on cancellation or partial cancellation to pay a cancellation fee as follows:

Up to 90 days before the start of the event 50%.

Up to 30 days before the start of the event 80%.

From 29 days before the start of the event the full amount of the agreed rent for the cancelled stand space.

9. Build-up and DismantlingFor build-up and dismantling times please refer to the M2M Summit Exhibitors and Logistics Infor-mation. The exhibitor is obliged to compete their stand within the announced build-up timeframe. Please note that exhibitors are not permitted to dismantle their stand before the event is finished. In the event of early dismantling a penalty will be charged to the exhibitor in the amount of the stand rent paid.

10. Allocation of Exhibition Space, RentM2M Alliance will provide exhibition space within the range indicated on the registration. The exhi-bitor’s desired size and location of the exhibition space will be complied with as far as possible. The rental agreement will still apply even if M2M Alliance does not allocate all, but at least 50% , of the requested space shall be construed as an offer requiring the exhibitor’s acceptance. Special requests made by the exhibitor (i.e. location, neighbouring stands, exclusion of competition, stand design etc.) will only be if they are explicitly confirmed in the notice of approval. In cases of im-perative technical or organisational requirement, M2M Alliance reserves the right to allocate a stand

in a different location than the original exhibition space allotment, to change the size of the exhi-bition space, or to close or reposition entrances and exits to the exhibition grounds. The exhibitor is not authorized to reassign the whole or part of an allocated stand to a third party without the permission of M2M Alliance.

11. DeviationsThe organiser reserves the right to change the content of the event slightly, to use replacement speakers and to make time and location shifts.

12. List of AttendeesM2M Alliance undertakes to treat the data provi-ded by the attendee as confidential. We use the data collected during registration within the le-gally valid boundaries for the purpose of providing our services. The attendees are indicated with their name, their position in the company and location of the list of attendees for the event booked.

13. Place of Performance and JurisdictionOnly German law applies. Place of performance and jurisdiction is Düsseldorf, Germany.
