2014 has been a great year at Mahvrick. We have explored many ideas and taken several of our own to market. M12 Magazine has given us a platform to speak to over 50,000 people on a daily basis. Fanatic Farm TV started as a BETA for other clients and since then has grown to 100-300 subscribers daily. At Mahvrick we like taking ideas to reality. Our ideas our clients ideas. We consider some of these ideas dreams. It is okay to dream, but we figure out ways to make dreams reality. Often we will tell our clients and partners “No!”, but if we see developments and maturity in an opportunity that “No!” becomes a “Lets do it!”. Many people do not understand this. We try to defy gravity. If you watch our social media and our blog posts many of the things that we do are extraordinary.

We want our shared dreams to become the foundation for more dreams that our community of subscribers can share in. From events and articles to art that we have commissioned that is now in galleries. 2015 is focused on Art and Fashion. Cant Wait.

We nominate five hundred women and select one hundred for Most Beautiful in the World every which is announced on January 1. This year our committee has selected Kendall Jenner as the Most Beautiful Woman in the world," says Richard Mahee, Mahvrick, Most Beautiful List.

Over the years Mahvrick has followed the media's curiosity into the lives of Kris Jenner and the Kardashian girls. Michael Bloomberg: I remember as a kid, the former CEO of Solomon Brothers, Michael Bloomberg, my fathers boss, started Bloomberg. He quit his job as CEO of Solomon Brothers. Dad and I were headed down the PATH train in the World Trade Center and Bloomberg had an advertisement for his market data system. Very progressive idea. It has changed the world.

I try to get a little personal in each issue. I think about things that are and were meaningful to me and our clients. Over the past three years, I have rebuilt a relationship with my college room mate. He was the team captain of the University of Maryland Football team the years that Kevin Plank player, founder of Under Armor.

One of my biggest motivators has been football. You learn that there is always someone bigger and stronger than you , but there are different ways that you can approach the game. Kevin Plank has proven that. He walked on at University of Maryland. switched from running back to linebacker.

His empire was built of one of the worst days of my college experience. Heat exhaustion affected some 12 players. Of course I was one. Hence why I am telling this story. i remember coming back from the hospital and Plank was running around the locker room with his roommate Michael Cucalo waiving Under Armor, saying they are gonna kill us, get your under armor on.

Today being so close to something that became what it is is truly motivation.

Mister Triple X, the charitable rabbit was created to tell my story, and the life story of everyone, basically the rabbit represents our journey through life and the crazy adventure we go through, ups and downs included. Most recently I have customized a prosthetic leg to help wounded war veteran Alex Minsky cope with the loss of his leg. I turned his tragedy into a fashionable cool accessory and featured him in my fashion shows. This year I had the honor of closing out fashion week NYC on Sept 11th and decided it would be so important to honor our war veterans and do something cool for them. It was amazing.

Next Year will be bigger and better than ever. I will have the headlining and closing show of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week NYC on Feb 19th at the Lincoln Center. My event in Los Angeles will also grow from a 3 day event to a 7 day event, becoming the premiere fashion week event in Los Angeles.

Etix announced the promotion of two company leaders, Ben Wingrove and Dennis Scanlon, and the addition of ticket industry veteran Don Orris. You do a very powerful performance when you on stage, if I was someone who has never been to one of your gigs, what would I expect at one of your gigs?A lot of raw emotion. I give so much of myself in each performance. If I didn’t, my performance would feel very empty and boring.

As a musician do you still get nervous on stage?I get more excited then nervous.

Do you have any rituals before going on stage?I warm up my vocals and box in open air like a boxer going to a ring. It gets the blood flowing and definitely gets me psyched.

Big 6 knew Charles Kidd Aka Knowin about 5 years prior to that. Charles Kidd as well as Larry Williams have been owning and running a 501(c3) Non-profit organization to mentor teens in crisis. So between a T-shirt company and a Non-profit organization it made sense to combine the ideas for an Entertainment aid agency the first ever EAA. The rest is history in the making as sheer talent alone has garnered the attention of Richard Mahee of Mahvrick, Geraldo Nazario Aka Big 6 was able to connect the two brands. Now creating and conceptualizing the characters, name of the show as well as the introduction music for the animated series LABLES, The single and Politiklee Inkawrect Theme song (Make you believe us!) and the Thesis for the Charles Kidd Aka Knowin's clothing line Domadayo Adore, and Campus Wear, Geraldo Nazario Aka Big 6 has taken his ability to write to the next level literally. Currently writing episodes, collaborating with a writing team and animation designer Ben Reynolds for the animated show LABLES. At this time working on a song produced by the very well respected Phat Pat with a well known artist as a Feature. Big 6 is also responsible for writing all the PIENERTAINMENT articles! Congratulations to American Producer Jaben Pennell of Vibehouse Productions. He partnered with Jeff Chia to engineer, mix and perform on album “I am Ayal Komod” which was the winner of Asia’s Golden Melody Award for Record of the Year. Pennell has also worked with Michael James (Jane’s Addiction, Chicago, Robbin Ford, Indie Pro Mix), Jenny Franck, Sara Kelly, Jackie Chan, David Zeman (Rembrandts), FUE. Currently he is in the studio working with Jenny Franck on a song for the “Standing Post” soundtrack. “Standing Post” is a film by Anthony Hornus for the Red White and Blue Project.

An experienced entertainment industry professional, he has worked with an assortment of artist such as chart toppers Arnel Pineda, lead singer of Journey, Lana Del Ray, Erika Jayne, and the world-wide entertainment company Sanre Entertainment, Beginning his career on the classic film "Hoosiers" over twenty five years ago, he has been involved with a wide range of projects from feature films to music videos broadcast both in the U.S. and in Asia. Currently sought out for his unique screenwriting abilities, he has also has a passion for producing and directing for the stage.. He currently has two projects in development and makes his home in Malibu Ca.

School Buzz: Erika Benton-Martin

One spark that may ignite a fire. Life should always to be cherished. Some of us are elders that can pass on the wisdom, and some of us are young, learning to embrace the past to make a change, but our lives do not have a finish line. Every single day is a new beginning and as you wake up, the first step you take out of bed is progress of your progression. There are so many things that we all can do to make the world a better place, however the first thing that we have to do is to do it. Erika Benton-Martin is from San Francisco, California and is a recent graduate of Clark Atlanta University. “At the age of 17, I ventured off on my own, moved to Atlanta and four years later became the first person in my family to graduate from a university,” said Ericka. She has implemented journalism with music by working as a freelance music journalist. She loves multiple genres, listens multiple songs, and writes a story about how the songs or albums make her feel. All of this was an outcome of Erika’s work ethic, as well as staying kind and humble that allowed her to be able to visualize what it is that she would love to do within her lifetime.

Educating others with the education she has received, because intelligence is beautiful, as long as you are feeding the mind. “I have been blessed with many positive role models and I hope that one day someone will say the same about me. Since relocating to the California Bay Area, I've decided that I would like to dedicate some of my time to mentoring students interested in working in media. My goal with these students is to motivate, inspire and encourage them to go after and conquer whatever goal or dream they may have,” said Erika.

“My hope is to spark the mind of someone who will make a positive change in the world,” said Erika. It only takes one spark that may ignite a fire and that fire will grow and from that flame it can spread in order to attract others to make a positive change. By doing so, it can help the community, the country, and possibly the world. The result of that will be enriching life.
