THE VIRTUE OF AAYATUL KURSI-Whoever recites Ayatul Kursi immediately after each prescribed prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Jannah except death.-Whomever recites the first 4 ayahs of Surah al-Baqarah followed by Ayatul Kursi and then the last 3 ayahs of Surah al-Baqarah will not be inflicted with any kind of difficulty in his wealth or himself. Shaytaan will not come near him and he will not forget the Qur’an.

THE VIRTUE OF THE LAST THREE VERSES OF SURAH SAFFAT-Sha’bi (rahimahullah) relates, Rasulullah said: “Whomsoever desires to receive a large amount of reward on the Day of Qiyamah should recite the following at the end of a gathering when he intends to stand up.-Sayyiduna Abu Said was asked, “Have you memorised some [du’a] that Rasulullah would recite after making salam [to terminate Salah]?’ He said, ‘Yes, he would recite the above.

THE VIRTUE OF AYAH 26,27 OF AL IMRAN-The Prophet said to Muadh , ‘Should I not teach you a supplica-tion which, when used to implore Allah , Allah shall pay your debt, even it be as huge as Mount Uhud? He then mentioned them (i.e. Surah al Imran verse 26 & 27)

THE VIRTUE OF LAST 3 AYAAT OF SURAH HASHAR-When one recites in the morning: A-‘udhu billahis Sami’il ‘Alim minash shaytanir Rajim and then recites the last 3 verses of Surah Hashr Allah appoints 70,000 angels to pray for him till the evening. If he dies during that day, he dies a martyr. The same applies if one recites it in the evening.

THE VIRTUE OF LAST RUKU SURAH BAQARAH-If anyone recited two verses from the last of Surah al-Baqarah at night, they will be sufficient for him.

THE VIRTUE OF SURAH MULK-A surah from the Qur’an containing thirty verses will intercede for a man so that he will be forgiven. It is the Surah Tabaarak Alathi bi yadihi’l-mulk.-Whoever reads Tabaarak allaahi bi yadihi’l-mulk [i.e, Surah Mulk] every night, Allah will protect him from the torment of the grave. At the time of the Messenger of Allah we used to call it al-maani’ah (that which protects). In the Book of Allah it is a surah which, whoever recites it every night has done very well.-That the Prophet never used to sleep until he had recited Alif-laam-meem tanzeel [al-Sajdah] and Tabaarak alladhi bi yadihi’l-mulk [al-Mulk].

THE VIRTUE OF SURAH YASEEN-Everything has a heart and the heart of the Holy Qur’aan is Yaseen. Allah will record anyone who recites Yaseen as having recited the Holy Qur’aan ten times.-If anyone recites Yaseen at the beginning of the day, his needs will be fulfilled.

THE VIRTUE OF SURAH SAJDAH-Rasulullah would not sleep until he recited Surah Sajdah and Surah Mulk

THE VIRTUE OF SURAH AL-WAQI'AH-Whoever recites Surah Al Waqiah every night will never suffer from poverty.

THE VIRTUE OF SURAH KAHF-If anyone learns by heart the first ten verses of the Surat Al-Kahf, he will be protected from the Daj jal.-Whoever reads Surat al-Kahf on the day of Jumu’ah, will have a light that will shine from him from one Friday to the next.-Whoever reads Surat al-Kahf on the day of Jumu’ah, a light will shine for him from beneath his feet to the clouds of the sky, which will shine for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will be forgiven (his sins) between the two Fridays.

And Only Allah Knows Best

Ummati School offers two Hifz schedules (3 or 6 years) for those parents who wish to complete the memorization of the entire Qur'an with their child (after completing the above basic memorization at school). The schedules have been designed based on research into successful Hifz programs and our own observations of how academic school students can progress through the schedules. The resulting program and advice will help parents to implement their own Hifz program with the help of the school, insha-Allah.
