ASAF STRATEGY

In alternative to breast feeding after weaning a child exclusively after 6 month. The kind of fomula introduced to the mother for child development must follow the rule of AFAS strategy. AFAS strategy shows that the fomula in this developing world should be Affodable,Feasible,Accessible, and sustainable.note that in HIV positive mother once the AFAS strategy starts for the fomula there is no room to re-introduce breast feeding again cos risk of infecting the child increase during the process.
