The Rae-Bon Review M A R C H 2 0 1 4
A newsletter to further your enjoyment of quilting, sewing, and related hobbies.
with a bit of both.
Looking forward to April, I would like to
invite you to the shop April 4 and 5 to
learn everything you ever wanted to know
about the multi-needle embroidery
machine. Brother educator, Paulette Bell,
is an expert on the machine and has run a successful embroidery business of her
own. She will fill you in on the how to’s of
running your own business during the first
day of her visit. On day 2 she will put the
machine into action showing you just how
to use and embroider with the many
hoops available. She will also have samples
to share.
Thank you for making our job fun ! Happy
Quilting!
March is National Quilt Month. Dust off
those sewing machines and join us in a new
quilt project. We are excited to have Jan
Blixt and Connie Rodman here with us on
March 22 to share their expert long arm
quilting knowledge and answer your
questions. Race day is March 29. Rev up
those machines for a day of speed sewing
with your favorite jelly roll. This is sure to
be an exciting day!
We are debuting Anita Goodesign’s new
workshop format Friday, March 7. I for one
can’t wait to see what they have put
together for us. Sign up to reserve your
packet. At long last all of our Block of the Month’s
are ready to pick up. I would like to make a
correction to Bertie’s year. All blocks are
kitted with flannel only. We did not put any
wool in the kits. They can be hand or
machine appliqued. The sample is done

All of these questions and more will be answered
