Spring Landscape

Maintenance Volunteers

Regina Coeli

held its first of

the year

landscaping of

church grounds

at SSPP and St.

Michaels on Saturday, April 17. At SSPP, we had

Knights, family members and one high school

student volunteer for one hour which included

planting flowers around the St. Mary’s Statue,

weeding, trimming tree sprouts and spraying

roundup on weeds growing in the sidewalks and

parking lot. At St. Michaels, there were Knights

and family members helping with landscaping.

Volunteers trimmed the crepe myrtle trees, raked

and weeded. We are glad to assist Fr. Nash and

the parish staff in the landscaping of our church

grounds, and plan to have additional landscaping

dates about every two months. Parishioners are

invited to join with the Knights.

and Steve Schneider at

at SSPP. And we will

contact you the next time

we are working at the

churches.

MARRIAGE MOMENTS ~ Distance can put stress on a marriage. Having a spouse who travels a

lot or who is deployed to military service poses a challenge. Do you have any practices that

help the two of you when you are apart?

PARENTING POINTERS ~ Teach your child to pray. Sure, you may already say grace before

meals and a bedtime prayer, but help them practice humble prayers from their heart. You

may learn a lot by listening to their genuine prayer.

SAN ISIDRO LABRADOR

Es el patrono de los

agricultores del mundo.

Bienaventurado Isidro, que

habitas hoy la celestial

morada en justo premio de

tu singular piedad, caritativo

celo y santidad de vida, sin

que para practicar dichas

virtudes fueran obstáculo las

ocupaciones a que tenías

que dedicarte para ganar el

necesario sustento.

luminosos. El Rosario está compuesto por

dos elementos: oración mental y oración

verbal.
