- LSD became a therapeutic agent that showed great promise

- CIA: In the 1950’s the CIA thought the

drug could be applicable to mind control, however the recreational use of the drug by youth culture of the 60’s led to its prohibition.

Users see images, hear sounds, and feel sensations that do not exist.

• Produces sudden & unpredictable changes of mood • Fungus that typically grows on rye and other grains •Non – addictive and not known to cause brain damage.

Where can one get LSD?

• LSD is sold on the streets in the form of small tablets, capsules, or gelatin squares

•Occasionally it is sold in liquid form •No matter what form it comes in, LSD leads the

user to a serious disconnection from reality.

• Pupil dilation • Loss of appetite • Wakefulness • Numbness

•Dry mouth
