●The FFA and Student Council will be hosting an Outreach for Olivia benefit event in honor ofOliva Furbee, who is battling leukemia, on February 16 starting at 4:00 pm. The event will take place during the boys game against West Union. They are asking everyone in attendance to wear orange and they are selling t-shirts to honor Olivia. There will be a spaghetti dinner, silent auction and raffle. They a selling Cow Pie Bingo tickets for $10, for more information please visit the school website or see Mrs. Arnett, Mrs. Barnett or Ms. Rhonemus.
●The FFA is searching for heroes! Won’t you help save lives by donating blood on Feb. 22nd .All donors receive breakfast and snacks on the drive day. Please sign up during lunch.
●Students interested in College Credit Plus, the mandatory meeting has been rescheduled forTuesday February 20th @ 6:00 p.m. students must attend this meeting in order to be eligible.
●Senior Recognition is Friday Feb. 16 between the JV and varsity bball games. If you want todisplay a senior board it must be turned in by Thursday Feb. 15.

Super Start Scholarship – Southern State Community College Designed to offer high school seniors the opportunity to accelerate their college goals by
taking up to six credits tuition free during the summer semester immediately following thecompletion of their high school career. The scholarship is non-transferrable and can only beused during the summer semester. Requirements: restricted to graduating high schoolseniors with minimum 2.75 GPA. Deadline: May 1

3. Should begin receiving notice of admission. Narrow down your choices bycomparing your financial aid package from each school.

ACT State Administration
As part of the graduation pathways, we will administer the ACT in March to all junior students. This test will be free of charge and will not include the writing.
The State-Funded ACT will be given Tuesday, March 20th All 11th grade students will be required to participate in this administration.
