This kit pairs the most accurate trim-

mer in the world with the Sinclair Micrometer head to create the Ultimate Trimmer. The Wilson Case Trimmer aligns and holds your cases square to the cutter during the trim process. This results in a virtually identical trim length for each case. It is accomplished with Wilson’s unique case holder system which holds the case by the body taper. The trimmer case holder, cutter housing, and micrometer adjustment unit sit in perfect align-ment. No pilots or collets are utilized which could influence the trim results negatively. Now in stainless steel, the Wilson Trim-mer is built to last for a lifetime of use.

The Sinclair Micrometer head allows the reloader to easily adjust trim length in increments of .001" with an adjustment length of over 2". The micrometer reads in “actual” case length, making it the most pleasurable micro trimmer to work with. De-termine your trim length, dial to the exact length on the microm-eter, and you’re ready – it’s that simple. This gauge set enables the handloader to measure changes to the headspace of cartridges us-ing a Hornady Lock-N-Load Comparator Body and your dial or digital caliper. Different bushing sizes (depending on cartridge family) insert into the comparator body, which attaches directly to the caliper. You can then measure the changes between fired and sized brass, helping you to adjust your sizing dies for a proper fit in your rifle’s chamber. Sinclair Bump Gage Inserts are used to measure the amount of shoulder bump when setting up full-length sizing dies. Installs in either of Sinclair’s comparator bodies (available separately) and machined to fit particular shoulder angles of cartridges. Rather than measuring to the datum line, these gages indicate off of the shoulder of the case to get a more easily assessable measurement of how much you are actually sizing your cases. We usually recommend between .001" to .002" bump for bolt action rifles and between .003" and .005" for AR-15 type rifles. Each RCBS Precisioneered® die is made from case-hardened steel, with inside sur-faces precision-drilled and reamed to the same exacting standards as a fine target rifle. Hand-polished interior surfaces give a combination of hardness and smoothness that will withstand years and years of the abrasive type of wear caused by case sizing. RCBS includes features you’d expect on any high-end dies: a large, easy-to-adjust hex

lock ring with hex head set screws and standard 7⁄8"-14 threads. Dies come packed in stackable, plastic storage boxes specially designed to protect them in shipping.

rCBS Full-Length Sizer dies have vents to prevent case dam-age caused by trapped air or excessive lubricant. Headspace is held to minimum tolerances to avoid changing the case body length during full-length sizing.

rCBS Bullet Seater dies seat bullets correctly in full-length sized or neck-sized cases. They have a built-in crimp ring to en-able you to crimp the case into the bullet if you wish to. The seater die is easily adjusted to crimp or not to crimp by raising or lowering the die position in the press. Seater dies may also be purchased separately; some reloaders like to have a separate seater die adjusted for each bullet they shoot or for different rifles shooting the same cartridge.

Forster dies are of superb quality and provide the reloader with the ability to produce consistent, concentric rounds time and time again. Each die is manufactured from the finest quality steel carefully machined precisely to SAAMI specs, then hand-polished both before and after heat-treating to Rc 58-60 to guarantee an extra-fine finish. All dies feature Forster’s Cross Bolt Die Locking Ring that tightens the two ends of the split ring instead of tightening a screw directly into the threads of the die. Dies sold individually and in sets; see table below.

Full-Length Sizing dies are equipped with Forster’s E-Z Out Expander button that helps keep the case neck concentric during the expanding operation. It’s positioned higher in the neck area than most other dies to provide support and keep the axis of the neck and case in alignment as the case is withdrawn from the die. Also bumps the shoulder of the case and size the case body to control brass expansion and chamber easily for the next firing.

Neck Sizing die enables the reloaders to retain the fire formed dimensions of their cases rather than resizing the entire case. Neck sizing prolongs case life and eliminates some problems associated with excessive headspace. Forster’s neck dies also include the E-Z Out Expander button assembly.

Bench rest Seater dies were the first of their kind to have a close-fitting “sliding” chamber that holds the case, bullet, and seat-ing stem all in perfect alignment, allowing the reloader to produce exceptionally straight ammunition. Conventional seating dies with a fixed chamber and seating system may start your bullet into the case neck at an angle. These dies also have seating stems designed to work with both conventional bullets and VLD style bullets.

ultra micrometer Seater dies add to the features of the Bench Rest Seater Die an ultra-accurate micrometer adjustment that lets you adjust bullet seating depth from .0005" to .001" increments. Also makes switching bullets easy: just dial back to your previous recorded setting. Makes fine tuning your bullets to the lands of your rifling simple.

Special-purpose dies Help You make Highly Consistent ammo

Redding’s Competition and Bushing Dies are machined to even stricter tolerances than their stan-dard dies. Individual dies sold separately or as part of a set (described below), packaged in a hard plastic box with a wrench and an extra decapping pin. All Redding dies have the standard 7⁄8"-14 thread pitch.

Body Sizing dies resize the full length of the case body and bump the shoulder position for proper chambering, but they do not size the neck at all. They are made without internal parts and are intended for resizing cases that are stretching and becoming increasingly difficult to chamber after repeated firings. After using a body die, the case should be run through a neck die to achieve proper neck tension.

Competition Seating dies are micrometer-adjustable dies calibrated in .001" increments for precise seating depth adjustments and are infinitely adjustable (no pre-set “clicks”). “Zero” set feature allows you to zero the micrometer to your favorite seating depth. A sliding sleeve supports the case and ensures it is perfectly aligned with the bullet before seating begins.

Competition Bushing Neck Sizing dies completely support and align the cartridge in the die, and as sizing begins, the case remains supported in the chambered sliding sleeve while a floating sizing bushing centers on the case neck. A micrometer integral to the die body lets you precisely control the amount/length of the neck that will be sized. Bush-ings are sold separately – and explained below. Set includes a Competition Bushing Neck Sizing Die, a Body Die, and a Competition Bullet Seater.

Type S Full-Length Bushing Sizing dies size the full length of the case and let you control case neck tension at the same time. They use the same bushings as the Competition Neck Sizing Dies (bushing not included, sold below), and have an adjustable decapping rod that allows you to size all or a portion of the neck. They give you excellent control over the neck tension, which is especially important for semi-auto rifle ammunition because it must be full-length resized every time. The decapping rod comes with a standard expander ball and a decapping pin retainer. Set includes a Type “S” Full-Length Bushing Die and a Competition Bullet Seater.

redding Neck Sizing Bushings are available sized from .185" to .368" in .001" increments. Determine the size you need simply by measuring the outside neck diameter of your loaded cartridges with a precision micrometer or a dial caliper. Then subtract .001" from the cartridge that had the smallest average neck diameter. This diameter bushing will gener-ally size case necks just enough to create the proper press fit for the bullet. Then choose between 73 Style Bushings made of heat treated steel and hand polished with a surface hardness of Rc 60-62 to reduce sizing effort, or 76 Style Bushings of heat-treated steel with a Titanium Nitride coating for even more surface hardness and less sizing friction. Full-Length Sizing dies size the “full length” of your cartridge including the neck and body of the case. We recommend the use of a headspace gauge when setting up a full-length sizing die. Neck Sizing dies size only the necks of bottleneck cases to prolong brass life and improve accuracy. It is important that fired cases should never be interchanged between rifles since the neck sizing dies do not size the shoulder or body.
