Transcript Review
Transcript Review
Your transcript is divided by semester for each year
Pay attention to the class and the grade
If you are a new student who enrolled at the semester, your transcript may not have been evaluated yet. Don’t be alarmed, but you will have to use your memory to do your credit check
If you are a new student from another country, your grades were transcribed as “P” for pass
Transcript Review
Notice “WA HIST REQ MET” – This is listed at
the end of your transcript under
“ADDITIONAL STATE REQUIREMENTS.” You
should have completed this class in 8th
grade and while you don’t get numerical
credit for it, it does satisfy the state
requirement
Transcript Review
Note the “REPORT PERIOD AND CUMULATIVE
SUMMARY” section. This gives you your credits
earned and grade point average for each
semester.
The two most important numbers are in the last line
under “Cumulative Summary”. The first column,
“Credit Earned” gives the total number of credits
you have earned to date. The last column “GPA”
gives your cumulative grade point average to
date. This will change each semester.
Transcript Review
Under “ADDITIONAL STATE REQUIREMENTS” the district has not yet updated these requirements, so don’t worry if it says “NOT MET”
If you believe there is an error or you have a question about your transcript, meet with your counselor later this spring
High School & Beyond Plan will be marked as MET at the end of your senior year once all of your Career Cruising has been complete.
Credit Check
o Each graduating
class requires 24
credits to graduate
o Use your transcript
to complete your credit check form
Credit Check
Each box equals one semester or .5 credit
There are an appropriate number of boxes for
each subject area you need
For each semester class you have passed, cross
out one box next to the corresponding subject
If all the boxes next to a required subject area are
checked off, and you have completed an
additional class, it will count as elective credit
Circle the classes you are currently enrolled in this
semester
Credit Check
Decide what classes to request for next
year based on classes and credits you still
need; on the back of your registration form
is a list of elective classes
Remember, if you are enrolled in a world
language or math class and you wish to
continue, be sure to register for it next year
and don’t take a year off
