INNOVATION:

HOW CHROMANCE WORKS CONTRAST ENHANCED Chromance fall into a category of sun lenses called “Contrast Enhanced” lenses that calibrate visible light to give the wearer

brighter colors, better clarity and enhanced contrast.

CALIBRATES VISIBILE LIGHT

Normal sun lenses block a significant amount of light that enters the eye but they allow all colors to enter eye. Contrast Enhanced sun

lenses also reduce the amount of light that enters the eye, but they calibrate which colors are allowed to pass through the lens.

The specific colors that are calibrated depend on the technology of the lens, but in general, Contrast Enhanced lenses block the

light where one color transitions to another color – i.e. Blue to Green, Green to Yellow, Yellow to Orange, Orange to Red. It is

difficult to for our brain to distinguish the exact color in those transitions areas.
