likes to do things by himself, Ripley is portrayed as Luther's Partner ass they’re on the crime scene together

Location The location is established first as Luther is standing on a roof top with the background being inner city London.

Sound

There’s non diegetic music playing during the scene of the crime scene like lingering mystery and music gets faster and faster whilst Luther points aspects of the crime scene like he’s solving it

Luther starts off the case with him receiving a text message from his boss, the next scene is him instantly at the crime scene

Luther walks under the police tape whilst someone holds it up for him, this suggests that he is of some importance and people respect him which is why another police officer is holding I up for him to walk under

Mise en Scene The mise en scene during the crime scene

uses many different props like numbers, police tape and cars, the use of these are too show the audience instantly that this is a crime scene.

Extra’s like the forensic team and photographers, show us the crime is important and popular, journalists are present and Luther talks to one of them, this suggests that they're familiar with each other like she’s always at his crime scenes. ect
