involved is part of the student
experience. Thats why we offer
you many ways to plug in, explore
your interests, and have fun. Here
are some examples:
TheLuther University Students
Association (LUSA) organises
dances, cabarets and other social
activities. LUSA also represents
student interests on many Luther
and U of R committees, which deal
with matters ranging from student
life to Luthers long-range planning.
Lutherhostsmanyeventson
campussuch as fair trade fairs
and various fundraising events
designed to promote social
awareness and student engagement
in issues important in the world today.
Thechaplaincy program organises
activities to explore matters of faith,
ethics and social justice. Luthers
chaplain, together with student
peer chaplains, offers weeklyworship services as well
as personal spiritual guidance.
Lutheroffersyoumanyopportunities
to hear renowned speakers address
important topics. The annual Luther
Lecture, co-sponsored Forward
Together Lecture, and TalkingFresh Festival of Writers and Writing
