Proudly based in Talbot Green, Rhondda Cynon Taf Lumin8u provide a range of interactive, fun and transformative learning tools that engage Students, Volunteers and Employees.

We are passionate about enabling our participants to explore and take positive action for themselves, career, community and planet.

CEMAS in collaboration with Lumin8u co-developed the app using cutting edge design and technology, including tried and tested psychological tools to create a sector leading, powerful and engaging educational experience for users.

Complementing our live workshops, the AIM app helps unlock the potential within all learners. The app encourages the user to embark on a learning adventure exploring personal/team/community development and global citizenship/social responsibility issues using the latest gamification technology.

Most training has grown stale and many trainers are simply following books and instructions written years ago. It could be argued that the approach they are teaching is no longer relevant or engaging for the user. Providing training through an app would be ground breaking and would set our services apart.

The main features of the app uses games and fun activities to enhance the participants learning journey more effectively to helps users:

Identify strengths, recognise values, map skills and preferences.

Set realistic goals.

Plan and implement own and community/work based projects.

Understand benefits of team work and cooperation.

Measures the Distance Travelled of the learner.

Have fun.

The CEMAS team have been there every step of the way, helping me refine the content so the end result is a better experience for the user. I was impressed by how CEMAS are supporting business to embrace the digital age with confidence.

The expertise and commitment to excellence within the team is world class. All the hard work that goes into commissioning, design, development and launch of the apps, actually do make a big difference to sustainability and the growth of business involved from across Wales.

The app is aimed at the third sector organisations wanting to match the staff and volunteers skills base with the new and emerging needs and direction of the Organisation. Additionally we believe working with services that support people who are hitting crossroads in their life, and are preparing for change will benefit enormously from the app.

By CEMAS developing this app it will secure our position as the market leader in interactive learning services within our sector.

Datblygodd CEMAS yr ap ar y cyd Lumin8u, gan ddefnyddior dulliau dylunio a thechnoleg mwyaf cyfoes, gan gynnwys adnoddau seicolegol profedig i greu profiad addysgol grymus, diddorol, syn arwain y sector i ddefnyddwyr.

Gan gyd-fynd n gweithdai byw, mae ap AIM yn helpu i ddatgloir potensial ym mhob dysgwr. Maer ap yn annog y dysgwr i gychwyn ar antur ddysgu gan ystyried materion personol/tm/datblygu cymunedol a dinasyddiaeth fyd-eang/cyfrifoldeb cymdeithasol gan ddefnyddior dechnoleg gemau ddiweddaraf.

Maer rhan fwyaf or hyfforddiant wedi mynd yn hen bellach, ac mae nifer o hyfforddwyr ond yn dilyn llyfrau a chyfarwyddiadau a ysgrifennwyd flynyddoedd yn l. Gellid dadlau nad ywr dull maent yn ei ddysgu yn berthnasol mwyach ac nad ywn ymgysylltu r defnyddiwr. Byddai darparu hyfforddiant drwy ap yn torri tir newydd ac yn tynnu sylw at ein gwasanaethau.

Roedd Tm CEMAS yn gefn i mi ar bob cam or ffordd, gan fy helpu i fireinior cynnwys er mwyn rhoi profiad gwell ir defnyddiwr yn y pen draw. Roeddwn yn falch o weld sut mae CEMAS yn helpu busnesau i ymuno r oes ddigidol yn hyderus.
