About the Designer

Our designer and founder, Rachel Mednick, studied fashion design

and merchandising at Drexel Uni-versity. She is a passionate artist,

an inventive cook, and has a knack for making a crying baby laugh. When her cousin Christina had her first child, Lucy, Rachel had her first child, Lucy, Rachel made a special onesie as a birth-

day present. And she never stopped making them. Two years later Lucy's brother, Leo, arrived. Inspired by her growing family,

Rachel began her long held dream of starting her

own childrenswear line.

Why Organic?

-Organic cotton farming supports sustainable agriculture that will keep our soil fertile, water clean and air pure for generations to come.

-Organic clothing is manufactured without the use of harsh pesticides and chemicals such as petrochemicals, formaldehyde, heavy metals, synthetic fertilizers and insecticides. This is especially important in baby's insecticides. This is especially important in baby's clothing because babies have very sensitive skin that can easily absorb toxins.

-Clothing made from organic cotton tends to last longer because it is not put through the same harsh processes as conventional cotton such as bleaching and softening.
