On Saturday, January 17 th , 2015, Judo Ontario athletes and coaches had the opportunity to learn winning techniques from 2007 Sr. World Judo Champion, Luciano Correa. Luciano, a Brazilian National Team Member won a bronze medal at the 2005 World Championships and a gold medal at the 2007 World Championships. Additionally, he won a gold medal at the 2011 Pan American Games and silver at the 2014 Pan American Championships. During the clinic he led the group through the technical details of his favourite moves and circulated around the mat to help athletes and coaches. At the end of the clinic, during the Q & A period, he discussed his rigorous twice a day training schedule and his intense strength and conditioning program. The clinic was well attended with athletes from the following clubs in attendance: Ajax Budokan, Full Circle Judo Club, M&D Siladi, Hayabusakan, Formokan, JCCC Judokai, Scarborough Dojo, Sheffield Judo, Trent Judo Club, Kawasaki Rendokan, Tora Judo Club, Kaizen, Shinbukan, and Taifu. Many thanks to those who supported the program. This type of support, allows Judo Ontario to continue to bring more innovative and valuable programs to its members. Thanks also to Pedro Guedes for organizing the event, and to the Ajax Budokan Judo Club for hosting. It is programs like these that will make Ontario stronger.  On  Saturday,  January  17th,  2015,  Judo  Ontario  athletes  and  coaches  had  the  opportunity  to  learn  winning  techniques  from  2007  Sr.  World  Judo  Champion,  Luciano  Correa.
