Leading Change for a Digital Dividend
Build a business case to achieve measurable and/or clearly identifiable benefits from using technology
Leadership in Technology (LIT) grant based intervention
A £6,000 grant for providers will be available for those that identify a particular improvement that can be tackled through the innovative use of technology.
• Identify a particular area for improvement that can be tackled through the effective deployment of technology.
• Identify the change management that needs to take place to embed effective practice and show how this will be part of the organisational improvement strategy.
• Identify a mentor from another organisation to support the projects.
Successful mini-networks are led by exemplars who:–Are expert in the use of technology–Facilitate, reflect upon and model good practice–Are open and inclusive in their approach

Technology Exemplar Network
• Survey of 820 practitioners in 15 providers of further education in England
• Research instrument developed from original work at Thanet College asking about attitudes to technology-in-action
• Using Survey Monkey, the structure of the instrument was changed to incorporate free text responses to provide opportunities for respondents to expand on their responses
• Individual and provider profiles generated by the survey along with practitioner narratives
