• L3 access will be “less comfortable” (O-side staircase) on Mon 8 and Tue 9 April due to TRD17 removal

Recap week 11 (11-17/3)

• P2tech + ALTEAD + PHOS: remove PHOS modules and cradle (Mon-Thu)• P2tech: open miniframe false floor (Mon PM or Tue) – No access on MNF during PHOS removal• P2tech + ALTEAD: remove PHOS rail extensions and shuttle (Fri)• TPC laser / FMD (Borge) (Thu-Fri):

– Check laser intensity with lower laser power - for reference.– Remove a broken electronics board and bring it home for repair.– Inspect the FMD cooling pipes on the C side.

• Muon TRK: dismount and soldering of CH5R (whole week)• T0: detector inspection (Fri) – had to open the T0 protection• BE-ABP-SU: survey ALICE network points• ALTEAD: unload UPS racks (SR building) (Tue PM) – Put in SX2• P2tech: unfold PHOS LV cables – There are still a few (5) cables not belonging to PHOS!!!• EN-HE-LM: maintenance cavern lift (4:00 to 6:00 AM) and CR lift (6:00 to 8:00) (Fri)• SPIE: install cable-trays and pull UPS cables PX24

TPC FEC replacement

• Task:– 9 Front End Cards need to be replaced– One readout branch (C00 rp0) is not working properly and

maybe all 9 FECs should be replaced there• Plan:

– Week 12: Start on C side– Weeks 13-14: Finish C side and move to A side– Week 15: In case of delay

• Status:– Week 12 used mainly to set up and start with easy cases– 4 FECs replaced so far

AOB

• On 2nd April there will be a software upgrade to some routers on the General Purpose Network. This will affect for P2 the GPN routers in 2275 (SR2). This is the entry point of the GPN (and others) for P2, so by that it will affect all P2. The impact is a 10min interruption of the connectivity (the time to install firmware and reboot).

• On 1st June there will be a similar intervention, again on GPN, but CERN-wide
