BURIAL HILL TOURSLaunched independently in 2011 by the Plymouth Antiquarian Society, the Burial
Hill series is now a collaborative program with the Pilgrim Society & Pilgrim Hall Museum.
The Plymouth Antiquarian Society preserves local history after the Pilgrim era, with historic collections including the 1809 Hedge House, the 1749 Spooner House, and the 1677 Harlow House. Established in 1919, the Antiquarian Society offers a diverse range of tours, special events, and programs. Membership is open to all who share a passion for local history.
Pilgrim Hall Museum is the oldest continuously operating museum in the country with an unmatched collection of colonial artifacts and documents that reveal the lives of Plymouth’s early residents, both English and Wampanoag. Open 7 days a week year-round (except January), Pilgrim Hall Museum features changing exhibi-tions, lectures, tours and programs.

Explore one of Plymouth’s greatest historic treasures – Burial Hill – during a series of
free themed discovery tours. Encounter art, history, and culture in an open-air museum
with local historians who share their expertise on a fascinating range of topics.

Tours are held every first Saturday of the month (except January and August) at 1 pm and will last approximately one hour. Participants may traverse steep and grassy slopes; please
wear appropriate shoes. Tours begin at the top of the Hill, and are free and open to the public. Severe weather may cancel tour; check our Facebook pages for updates.
