Myanmar’s Government Orphan HouseParahitah orphan house
When I was around ten years old, our church used to have a panic every year in the beautiful campus of the Parahitah orphan house which is own by the Myanmar
Government.
I used to see many boys in this campus, and most of boys looked sad and lonely, sitting alone by the lake.
I can never forgot those children faces in my eyes, and these memories stay in my heart and I always said to myself, one day I want to come back to this place in
the future and spend time with them.
I am so happy that I could visit to them.
These 32 children are from all over Myanmar.
They are not belong to any religion but since it is a government orphan, they have to be the Buddhist way of life..
We were talking about how can Adventist seminary help these children. So the care giver said, “These children need help to study English. So we are planning to send some
teachers and students in the future…We need to get permition from the government office so please kindly remember them in your prayers…
He is the care giver for them…
Longyis and chocolates gift for all the children..
Cards from Forest Lake Church’s Adventure children…
I gave a short speech on why I wanted to give a visit to them. These two men are their only care givers. These children must be hungry for love, care and God’s love. Let’s pray that one day we all will share with them that
God is always there for them…..Most of them are the same age with my two sons…I wish, I can see them again in the future…
They say a prayer for all the donors…I wish I can tell how much God loves them…I hope that one day I will get chance to see and tell them a wonderful story of our Father who is
in heaven and taking care of them.
They gave me a thank you certificate…
Total 32 children: 5 have no parents, 8 have no father, 1has no mother, and 18
children’s parents are very poor.
This is the picture of one of the boys, who got the highest score in the country..
Beside us is the building where these 32 children live…
They have a beautiful garden..
How God had prepared for them a beautiful garden.
This is their lake, next to their building. I can still remember I used to stand with my parents and watch a little boy who used to swim in this lake in the 1970s….
