Esperanza Spalding is always developing her art and skills as a world-renowned composer, bassist and vocalist. She is musically grounded in jazz traditions but never bound by them, as she bends and blends genres in new and surprising ways. Next to winning four Grammy awards, Spalding has shared the stage with stars like Herbie Hancock and Prince. At the Melbourne Jazz Festival 2016, she presents her fifth studio album, Emily’s D+Evolution. The album tells the story of her alter ego, with the storyline supported by video, characters and body movement. In this 4K recorded show, Matt Steven (guitar), Justin Tyson (drums), and Emily Elbert (vocals) join Esperanza Spalding in creating a not to be missed phenomenal show!

ROMANTICISM IN CONCERT

Every Sunday night in the month of March brings romanticism in concert to the homes of Stingray Classica viewers.

In four dramatically beautiful recitals, acclaimed international soloists enchant with programmes that explore the topics of drama, romance and melancholia. On March 7th, conductor Teodor Currentzis leads his ensemble MusicAeterna alongside violinist Patricia Kopatchinskaja in a performance of works by Brahms and Mendelssohn. The week after, Greek violinist Leonidas Kavakos and Chinese pianist Yuja Wang join forces to interpret three sonatas of Johannes Brahms. Furthermore, the special features a performance of the French Chamber Music ensemble Trio Zadig and a performance of Schubert’s Second Piano Trio from the International Chamber Music Festival in Bellinzona.

After the Golden Globes and the Oscars…Nollywood channels present The NOLLYWOOD TV AWARDS!From February 17th until 27th, Nollywood TV and Nollywood TV Epic invite their fans and subscribers to vote for the best film, best tv shows and best actor/actress.

The TV channel Mezzo Live HD took over Radio Classique in Montréal and Quebec.

At the occasion of the launch of ES1 TV channel, Vidéotron organized a contest on its platform to highlight.

A targeted Facebook ad was published for the promotion of Le Bouquet Russe during the Orthodox Christmas eve.

One year after the creation of Novelas TV’s Instagram page, more than 28K people follow it.

In January the launch of two new TV shows, CATALINA season 2 and LES LARMES DU PARADIS, lead to an increase of 4 700 new followers. They particularly enjoyed CATALINA’s personality test and LES LARMES DU PARADIS quizz that Novelas TV shared in stories.

Following a contest organized for Cuisines TV channel, the winner (Laure of Yaoundé) was invited to participate in a workshop with the chef Teufak in Douala!

Mezzo shined bright during the beggining of the year though Logosoft, Go Malta, Kuki and Sledovanitv who organized multiple contests in partnership with the channel.

The operator Nova (Greece) organized contests to promote MyZen TV and Insight TV channels.

MARKETING ACTIONS

Nollywood TV and Cuisines channels celebrated the Valentine’s Day! Several influencers such as Karelle in Senegal, La Gouteuse in Ivory Coast and Popolovescooking in Gabon, shared on their Instagram recipes of Recette d’Afrique’s Chef, a show broadcasted on Cuisines channel, to give their fans the recipe for the perfect Valentine’s day dinner. Nollywood TV channel organized the game « I date/I next » with Awa Gaye « Sweet Senegal » in Sénégal and Josepha Mutund in DRC.
