QUIZ TEAM MINISTRY 2014-2015 KICKOFF – Are you a 6th-12th grader inter-ested in memorizing scripture, building relationships, and having fun? There will be a picnic on August 17 at 12:30 PM in the IBC outback. Families are in-vited and encouraged to attend to learn more about the next quizzing season. Adults interested in being a Quiz PAL are also encouraged to attend. Chicken and tableware will be provided; please bring a side dish or salad or chips and a dessert. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED– Completion of Phase II of the IBC Sermon Archives project has begun. Anyone interested in helping save IBC sermons since 1975 in digital format, please contact Jon Whited (304.283.6360). You can schedule your work at any time during the week 9 AM - 5 PM. This is a great opportunity to listen to many excellent past sermons, too!

TWO EVENING BIBLE INSTITUTE (EBI) CLASSES– “The Gospel of John” with instructor Jim Schuppe @ IBC on Thursday nights, 7:00 PM beginning Sept. 4th. “The Pentateuch” with instructor Tom Jessurun @ FBC on Tuesday nights, 7:00 PM beginning Aug. 26th. These are accredited course through Appalachian Bible College. Fliers and registration forms will be available next Sunday.

NEW NURSERY WING OPEN HOUSE– Sunday, August 24, please come and see the new wing. All are welcome to grab a donut and take a tour of the new nursery wing anytime Sunday. We appreciate all those who donated of their time and money to make this Nursery Wing a reality. Thank you.

IBC KIDS FAMILY EXPERIENCE- Families are encouraged to attend a Fun Filled Night on Wednesday, August 20th from 7:00 - 8:30 PM in the Out-reach Center. There will be Food, Bounce Houses, and Face Painting. We will also be providing families with a unique opportunity to join their kids in a worship experience together. You won’t want to miss this exciting night.

INTERESTING IN SERVING IN AWANA?– There will be an AWANA Leaders Training Class on Sunday, August 24 at 9:15 and 10:45 in room 122. This training class is required for all those planning to serve in AWANA on Wednesday Nights this coming school year.
