But first!!!

Let us group who we love before

we explain L-O-V-E.

There are two kinds of Love.

FIRST: Love of GOD!!! – Also called

“AGAPE” (Greek word), or God’s love to us.

Remember John 3:16?“For GOD so LOVE the world,

that HE gave HIS Only Son (Jesus)….

SECOND: Love of other person!!! – Also called “PHILEO” (another Greek word), which means brotherly or

sisterly love.It is also called “neighbor love”.

Bible says:Love your neighbor as yourself.

Mark 12:31

NOW,

AGAPE is highest LOVE.

Let’s focus more on PHILEO or

NEIGHBOR LOVE.

WHO is your NEIGHBOR?

Family? ✔Friends? ✔

Houses near your house? ✔ Classmates and teachers? ✔ Filipinos and government officials? ✔

Beautiful Deaf Girl? ✔✔✔✔✔ Handsome Deaf Boy? ✔✔✔✔

WHO is your NEIGHBOR?

Your Enemy? Hmmmm…..

Not sure… Maybe …

What about…

Poor street children?

Person with no fingers or blind?

Deaf or hard of hearing persons?

Gays? Lesbians?

People who borrow money from you and escape or did not pay?

But the Bible says…

… LOVE your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven.

For God gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and on the unjust, too. If you love only those who love you, what good is that?

Matthew 5: 43-48

What about LOVE to your own body and own life?

God says you must take care of your body.

“You shall love your neighbor the same as you are to love yourself.”

“An unmarried person worries about how to please the Lord. But a married person has more worries. He must worry about the things of this world, (wife, food, support, etc.)”
