Don’t I need 3 Estimates?It’s a common misconception that Ohio law requires you to get at least 3 estimates for auto body repairs after an accident, but that’s completely false. You have the right to get as many or as few estimates that you feel is necessary to choose a repair center to serve you.

An estimate is just a preliminary guess of what it will cost to repair a vehicle after an accident. Until a vehicle is disassembled, the true cost for repairs is not known.

It’s Your ChoiceRemember, it’s always your choice who fixes your car. An insurance company, car dealer, leasing company, or responsible party may make suggestions for accident repairs, but it’s important to remember that the choice is always up to you. According to the Ohio Department of Insurance, you have the right to
