Sixth Ave. Miss Sabatino's marriage to John Con- ley, Hemstreet Park, will take place Dec. 1. The home was decorated in fall colors and cut flowers. A large bridal cake was the table centerpiece.- Aliens Asked to Register Before Christmas Rush Mechanicville—Miss Ella Hickey, postmaster, today urged unregis- tered aliens to comply with the registration law at the earliest pos- sible time, lest the holiday rush at the postoffice make impossible ade- quate consideration of applications. Miss Hickey announced up to Saturday, 540 area aliens registered and submitted to fingerprinting. She estimated approximately 100 aliens in the area have failed to register. ? Dec. 26 is the final date for com- plying with the law. Failure or re- fusal to register, or, in the case of a guardian of minors, failure to apply for their registration, is punishable by a fine up to $1,000, six months' imprisonment, or both. Garden Club Plans Yule Mantel Displays Mechanicville—The program com- mittee of the Mechanicville Garden Club announced Christmas decora- tive mantel displays will be part of it« December program. Miller, who died Friday morning in Co- hoes Hospital, was at 2 p.m. today at the home of her father, Charles File, 418 Park Ave., with whom she resided. Floral pieces were numerous and beautiful. The Rev. James K. Stewart, pastor of First Presby- terian Church, conducted the ser- vice. Bearers were Fred Muir, David Cole, William Hudson, James Brown, George Mehan and William Smith. * Burial was in Hudson View Cemetery. Callaiiun, Stricken 111* Dies Suddenly Mechanicville — The sudden death of Harold Kenneth Callanan, 38, occurred at 11:30 a.m. yester- day in Leonard Hospital, Troy, where he was taken only four hours earlier. Mr. Callanan was stricken suddenly ill at 4 a.m. yesterday and when his condition became rapidly worse, was rushed to the hospital. His death occurred on the sixth anniversary of the death of a two- year-old son, Donald; and less than seven months after the death of a son Billy, 12. Mrs. Callanan has five other children, all boys. MR. CALLANAN, resident of 35 S. Main St., was born in Halfmoon Sept. 13, 1902. For the past 12 years he had been employed on the Boston and Maine railroad here as track foreman. He was a mem- ber of the Railroad union and of the J. L. Short Hook and Ladder Company. Besides his wife, the former Miss Katherlne Fitzpatrick, survi- vors are five sons, John 15, Walter 11, Robert 9, Raymond 4, and David 17 months; his mother, Mrs. Delia Callanan, this city; and one brother, Niles, Bennington, Vt. Mr. Callanan was the son of the late Merritt Callanan. Funeral arrangements are in charge of John J. Ryan.     Aliens Asked to Register Before Christmas Rush

    Mechanicville—Miss Ella Hickey, postmaster, today urged unregis-tered aliens to comply with t h e registrat ion law a t the earliest pos-sible time, lest the holiday rush a t the postoffice make impossible ade-quate consideration of applicat ions.

    Miss Hickey announced up to Saturday, 540 a r ea aliens registered and submitted to f ingerprint ing. She est imated approximately 100 aliens in the a r ea have failed to register. ?

    Dec. 26 is the final date for com-plying with the law. Fai lure or re-fusal to register, or, in the case of a guardian of minors, failure to apply for thei r registrat ion, is punishable by a fine up to $1,000, six months ' imprisonment , or both.
