(This was before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.) 11 So Lot chose for himself the whole plain of the Jordan and set out toward the east. The two men parted company: (Gen 13:10-11, NIV)

• Ask God for wisdom (James 1:5-8).

• Seek advice from others (Prov 11:14; 12:15).

• Whatever you do, do it for the Lord’s sake (cf. Psalms 37:5-6, 23-26; James 4:15).
