The Changing Lives of Older Couples (CLOC) study
• 1,532 married individuals from Detroit area• 205 lost a spouse during the course of the
study, – interviewed prior to bereavement (on average 3
years pre-loss), – Interviewed at least twice after bereavement (6 and
18 months post-loss).
