Matthew 6:9 -13 1

Jesus taught his friends to pray like this:

“Our Father in heaven. 2

Your name is more important than any other name in heaven and earth.

3

Make this world a peaceful place where people love God and do

what is good and right, just like in heaven. 4

Give us the food our bodies need today

and keep us safe from harm. 5

Help us to forgive others even when they are

still unkind to us. 6

Remind us to make good choices

and do what we know is right. 7

For you are King of the universe, and in charge of the world.

You are the great God. Amen.” 8
