Looking for signs of the seasons

The weather begins to cool. The days get shorter. The leaves of many trees change to

colors such as red, yellow and brown. The leaves begin to fall. We start to wear warmer clothes. Halloween and Thanksgiving are

celebrated in the fall.

The weather is cold. You might see weather conditions like

rain, snow and wind. The days are short, and it gets dark very

quickly. You wear very warm clothing like

jackets, gloves, scarves and hats. Trees lose their leaves and are bare. Hanukkah, Kawaanza, and Christmas are

celebrated.

The weather begins to warm. Things begin to grow in nature. We wear cooler clothes like short sleeve

shirts and shorts. There are many changes in the weather.

Some days may be sunny, rainy, cloudy or a mixture of some of them.

Easter and Passover are celebrated.

The weather is VERY warm and sunny. Trees are very full and green. We wear very cool clothing. Because the weather is nice we can do

activities like swimming, going to the beach or attending summer camp

The 4th of July and Labor Day are celebrated.
