¿No estoy yo aquí? ¿No soy tu Madre?
¿No estás bajo mi sombra?

Pope Francis just observed the fourth anniversary of his election to the See of Peter as Bishop of Rome. In his homily during which he inaugurated the Petrine Ministry on March 19, 2013, the Solemnity of Saint Joseph, Pope Francis went so far as to say that without the Cross there is no Christianity.
I wish us all a spiritually profitable Holy Week. May we draw closer to Christ who endured the suffering and weakness of us all on the Cross. Let us ponder this great act of love and redemption - our sins nailed to the Cross—in this week we call Holy. By His Cross, we are saved!
Praise be Jesus Christ! Now and for ever!

The word “Tenebrae” means “darkness.” It refers to the darkness that came upon the earth when the Lord died on the cross and to the darkness held in the heart of the church during the days and hours of our Lord’s passion, death, and resurrection.
