‘Chestnut’ Canary Yellow

Studio Snowpuppe is a creative duo comprising of architect, Nellianna van den Baard and industrial designer, Kenneth Veenenbos.

Snowpuppe creates lampshades that diffuse a smooth and cosy light while creating a great visual impact. The architectural shapes look very modern, while also having a hint of inspiration from nature.

These geometric paper lampshades are made from flat pieces of paper to create intricate looking sculptural pieces using precise and detailed folds. The balance between the shadows and the light creates great imagery. The mix of industrial and natural shapes with the choice of either a bold or subtle colour create a homely and cosy glow for every interior.

Nellianna, has been working in architecture where building processes take 5 years. Kenneth has been working in industrial product design where most products are produced in China. We were looking for a product that we can produce ourselves on a small, but professional scale. We are close to our customers and we are flexible because every lampshade that goes out to a customer goes through our hands.

‘Moth’ White

Our goal is durable quality in the form of timeless andfunctional products. The aim is to consume sustainably and respect life, our environment and ourselves.

We create paper lampshades that are folded and lightweight to minimize the impact on the environment during the complete lifecycle of the product and give people a smile on their face.

We use high quality paper produced in Europe. We produce all the lampshades in The Netherlands by a mix of industrial production and production by hand.

Three important specifications of the chosen paper named Butterfly:1. FSC-certificated, Cert no. SGS-COC-1111;2. Longlasting, the color of the lampshade will not fade; 3. Flexible, available in many colors.

The paper lampshades have the ability to give some color and warmth to the light of energy-saving lightbulbs or LED lightbulbs. These kind of lightbulbs have quite cool light of themselves, but this now all changes when a Snowpuppe paper lampshade is used.

Chestnut

This lampshade has a cornered outside and a curved inside.

The curved inside is quite unexpected. Just like the first time you open a

chestnut and see that is is very round and curved on the inside

This lampshade is foldof 1 piece of Butterfly paper.

Wall fixture Klimoppe

Klimoppe is a sporty wall fixture, that likes to climb your walls.The wall fixture is suitable for use with the Moth or the Chestnut.

With the wooden stem you can adjust the distance between the paper lampshade and the wall. The wooden stem stays in position because of the friction with the cord.

Ceiling rose Kroonuppe

Since we are experiencing lots of fun folding our lampshades at Snowpuppe we want to share this :)This product has prefolded lines along which you can fold.

Mounting the paper ceiling rose can be done in 2 minutes. Just place it over the lightbulb from below and slide it up to your ceiling.
