ARHUACA & WAYUU BACKPACKS
The patterns and the textile of this back backpack is brought to life by Wayuu artisans in the La Guajira peninsula in north-
ern Colombia. This piece is 100% handwoven with just a single strand of
thread, making a very tight and strong weave. The pattern is a symbol of the Wayuu culture and a fine ex-
ample of their ethnic lifestyle.
The backpack is handcrafted with 100% soft leather and is made for limited edition. By buying this bag you are support-ing the Wayuu craftsmanship and empowering women in this
ethnic community to develop their skills and have a better standard of living.
