Toys will be donated to the Bethlehem Toy Store through the Carolina Baptist Association. The Bethlehem Toy Store is a ministry for local families who are experiencing financial difficulties during the holiday season. Each family is presented with the Gospel message and given a Bible and toys for their children. The Bethlehem Toy Store is not just about toys; it is a platform to reach families for Christ. Christmas in July is sponsored by Women of Carolina and Women on Mission.

COMMITTEE ON COMMITTEES

NOMINATIONSThe Committee on Committees (CoC) is seven FBC members elected by the congregation who serve to nominate members of the committees of the church. Those elected to the CoC serve a two-year term. Three new members will be elected in 2015. Nomination ballots will be distributed Sunday, July 12 in all morning worship services. The election will take place on Sunday, July 26.

As you consider who to nominate, remember current members are NOT ELIGIBLE FOR NOMINATION in 2015. Current members of the CoC are: Darlene Lambert, Sheri Redden, Angie Reid, Meredith Applegate, Chuck Lusk, Bruce Miller, and John Roach.

The Love’s Kitchen Clothes Closet is accepting donations of blue jeans and summer tops. We ask that you save your donations of winter clothes until the fall.
