Dear Longfellow Parents, On behalf of the staff and students at Longfellow Elementary School, I would like to thank each of you for participating in the Longfellow PTA Winter Social. Funds raised at the event will provide for a wide variety of opportunities for students at Longfellow. Some of these opportunities include classroom enhancements, technology, field trips, assemblies, clubs, and special events. Your participation is greatly appreciated in helping to continue to provide these wonderful opportunities for our students. I would like to thank our Longfellow PTA leadership, our Winter Social Committee, and all of the individuals that were involved in hosting this great event. This evening would not have been possible without all of their hard work and dedication. I would also like to thank all of the individuals and local businesses that contributed items for this evening's auction. 2018 Winter Social Auction Rules and Regulations

1. A bid number on the bid form is a promise to purchase an item. All sales are final and there will be no exchanges or refunds unless specified by donor.

2. Values set on auction items are donor stated values and are not authorized by Longfellow PTA for tax purposes or general value.

3. Please pay close attention to all conditions, restrictions and expirations dates on items and services. Unless otherwise noted, all items and services usually must be used before December 31, 2018.

4. Payment for items must be made by the close of the evening on February 23, 2018. Items need to be taken home at the conclusion of the event. Payment needs to be in the form of cash, check or credit card.

5. The Longfellow Elementary PTA reserves the right to withdraw an item from the auction at any time.

6. Please observe and respect any minimum bids and bid increase amounts noted on the bid sheets. No bid starting below the minimum will be considered a legal bid. No bid increase below the minimum increase will be considered a legal bid.

7. Please fill out the bid form clearly and completely.

8. The highest dollar bid at the close of the auction will be the winning bid. All bids must be made on the bid form.

9. You may bid on as many items as you wish, as often as you wish, up to the close of the auction. Be advised that if your bid is the highest at the close of the table you will be the purchaser of the item.

10. Payment on all items will be made at the cashier table.

11. Only a runner or an official of the auction may remove items from the tables.

12. All items are sold “as is”. The Longfellow Elementary PTA neither warrants or represents and shall in no event be held responsible for the correctness of the description, genuineness, authorship, province or condition of the property.

13. No persons under the age of 18 years shall at any time place a bid, silent or verbal.

14. All bids placed are final. There will be no exchanges.
