In MediaSchool, you will be at the centre of our concerns at the centre of our pedagogical thinking and at the centre of our professional placement approach.

Dear Students,

This is the commitment we make to our students and on which we base our training programmes tailored to the needs of professional companies.

MediaSchool is a higher education group specialized in the fields of multimedia communication, journalism and digital. With the European Communication School (ECS), the European Journalism Institute (IEJ) and #SUPDEWEB the MediaSchool’s remit is unique.

In a fast evolving connected world opportunities have been developed. The needs of the industry are clear and at MediaSchool we have the ambition and the knowledge to hone student performance to the utmost positions and to create competent and fully professional experts from the first day they are integrated into a company.

Our cross-media vision and educational bias is ultra-professionalising leading us to book the best industry players, actual case studies and innovative projects for rewarding classes today in France, in Paris, Toulouse, Strasbourg, Marseille and Nice but also across Europe in London, Bruxelles, Barcelona and in our first school in Shanghai - Asia.

With this crucial international experience given by MediaSchool, with programmes taught in English, French and Spanish you will have the chance to study and work abroad, making the world in which we live in today yours.

MediaSchool has brought together an ethos: Internationalisation and Professionalisation, and this is the reason why the employment rate of our students is high despite the slow economic climate.

The desire to improve performance lead us to vocational training acquiring the 30 year old IMM (Multi Media Institute) offering senior executives Multi medias seminars in Paris – New-York and San Francisco and created MEE (MediaSchool Executive Education) which offers tailor-made programmes and a wide range of resources in terms of content, methodologies and tools in our world of expertise: media, communication, journalism and digital business.

As world leader of communication, journalism and digital education, MediaSchool group puts all of its power, its energy and its knowledge to your advantage.

Kickstart your future with an international education and cultural experience at ECS-IEJ in London. Our programmes are tailor-made. With London renowned for its concentration of key media and marketing organisations across the areas of public relations, marketing, advertising, retail, journalism, printing, publishing, photography, multimedia, film and video, we believe that it is essential to keep the sharpest possible focus on the demands of future employers and tailor our courses to meet those demands. At the same time we understand the importance of promoting the joy of learning and make sure that you not only get pushed to a new level of understanding, but also have fun.

The ethos of the School is learning by doing. Our students in advertising for example, solve real communications and media planning cases and their results are judged by professionals working in the industry. Our students in journalism produce documentaries and work on group projects and in doing so build confidence and team spirit.

Creativity is the key word. With London having so much to offer, now is the perfect time to pursue your studies in a world-class environment and gain some invaluable international experience. Learn to “think different” and “make a difference”. And as a School, we have a track record for launching careers and we will help you seize the opportunities in the country or sector you choose.

Learn from the best practitioners. Small class sizes and intensive tuition at ECS-IEJ London ensure that all students are given personal attention. Where additional explanation or tuition is necessary, our teachers make time available on a one-to-one basis. We use exam-based teaching methods with written homework and timed tests during exam week held in December and May to make sure what they teach, sticks.

In the following pages we provide a small taste of what life is like for students at ECS-IEJ London. You can also explore our Website or come and meet with our brilliant team.

Every day this exciting city reminds us what makes London truly great – the people who live here.

I look forward to welcoming you as one of them!

The Partnership with lcc

4

LCC shares more than facilities and teaching staff with ECS-IEJ: Extensive exhibition space, photographic and television studios, interactive media and animation suites, broadcast and print newsrooms as well as large library and cafeterias but more importantly student exchange takes place, parties and sport teams are part of the life at the college.

LCC is located in the heart of London and is welcoming ECS-IEJ on the 8th floor of Tower Block with great views over London. Our students enjoy the convenience of the campus at Elephant & Castle, a major transport hub on the rail, bus and Tube networks.

As well as being in sight of the Houses of Parliament and other iconic London landmarks, at LCC we are on the doorstep of some of the capital’s prime media, design and art venues.

Our students stay in touch with emerging trends and have fun in our international and inspiring city.

The partnership was a natural choice with LCC, the London College of Communication, a world leader in media and design courses. The College courses are complementary on many aspects to ECS-IEJ teaching and methods.
