The Vitality London Big Half Marathon is one of the newest races in the U.K.! This is probably due to the amount of supporter attending the event. Get your guaranteed entry with “I Run the Globe”!

The “London Big Half Marathon” was created by the organizers of the Virgin London Marathon (London Marathon Events Ltd).

In 2020 we will be celebrating the third edition of the race. The route is flat, and exactly like the full distance, you would be running on the Tower Bridge!

Moreover, this course takes you through many other historic landmarks of the city. During your 21.1 K journey you will run through four districts of the City of London: Southwark, Lewisham, Tower Hamlets and Greenwich.

More than just running… There are hundreds of activities to do in the capital city of the United Kingdom. You will enjoy walking in the Royal Parks located beside Buckingham Palace. The Madame Tussauds where you’ll pose for photos with wax figures of celebrities. And of course, going up the London Eye is also fun to do!

Our Packages: We proudly offer guaranteed entries; however, the number of spots is limited which makes them available on a first come first serve basis.

We are unfortunately not allowed to sell those entries alone. The International Tour Operator agreements of the London marathon states that guaranteed entries should be sold only as parts of travel packages.

Our Hotel: We chose to stay at the Hilton London Euston Hotel. Located perfectly in the centre of the city, you are 20 minutes walking from the finishing line.

This 4-star hotel is on Bloomsbury neighborhood in the heart of the city. You are within walking distance from many landmarks.

This Victorian style building of 150 rooms has two restaurants and a gym with sauna.

The rooms are vast where you will find a locker for your belongings as well as free Wi-Fi.

Payments could be made via credit card, cheque or Interac eTransfer within 24 hours after completion of the form. You must read the booking terms and conditions. If you wish to discuss any aspect of the packages, please feel free to contact us.

Payment: At the date of registration, the deposit must be payed (consisting of the amount of the guaranteed entry plus half of the cost of the package). The full amount is due 60 days prior the first day of the trip.

Booking accommodations: I Run the Globe can customize your package if the dates provided in the brochure don’t work with your schedule. Airfare is not included in our bundles.

Booking Changes: If you wish to change any of your booking once confirmed. An administration fee of $50 will be charged.

Prices: All prices in this brochure are correct as at June 2019 and are shown in Canadian dollars (taxes included). Prices are subject to change at any time due to currency fluctuations and until payment is received in full.

Unused Services: Refunds will not be provided if due to illness or personal choice, you do not utilise part or your entire chosen package. It is advised to apply to insurance on your own. However, in most cases your credit card would cover for this purchase.

Cancelation from the Organizer: I Run the Globe has the right to cancel the trip in case of insufficient number of participants. In this case the deposit and the amount of the entry would be reimbursed.

Hotel Credit: Credit card imprints will be required by hotels providing telephone, mini-bar, in-room movies, laundry and other facilities and services that can be charged to guest rooms. These will be required by the hotel at the time of check-in.

Services and Obligations: As a travel agent, we supply our services consisting of arranging, booking, and co-ordinating travel facilities and services. The actual services and products are provided, supplied or performed by suppliers of travel, entertainment, and accommodation facilities or services (Suppliers).

We undertake to perform our services described in clause above with reasonable care and skill. We will not however be liable for any loss or damage which results from the act, default or omissions of any person other than ourselves, our volunteers or agents, or any cause independent of human control. This includes (but is not limited to) loss, or damage which arises directly or indirectly from act of God, weather disruptions, dangers incidental to the sea or air, fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, acts of Governments or other authorities de jure o de facto, wars whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, deaths, acts of terrorism, pilferage, pandemics, quarantines or medical or customs regulations.

We will endeavour to provide the most suitable travel arrangements to meet the requirements you make known to use. However, travel is an individual experience, and your preferences and opinions may vary from our own. For this reason, we cannot take responsibility for your individual satisfaction.
