ONE FOLD ONE SHEPHERD THEME CONTINUES IN ALL LONDON AREA

WE WELCOME all attending The Apostolic Church, London Area Celebrations 2021. For some of us it has been a long time since we

have come together in fellowship across the London Area. For those who are new to our celebration events, you are very welcome. We come together as one Fold under One Shepherd - Our Lord Jesus Christ and we pray you will be blessed. However remember - other sheep I have which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; John 10:16

We are thankful to God for the opportunity we have to gather in fellowship and to celebrate what God is doing amongst us and as we ask Him to show us how we can work together - ONE FOLD, UNDER ONE SHEPHERD.

All who tune into the celebrations event are asked to join online at the times indicated to get the full benefit of the sessions. We are all used to how our online platforms work.

You will see from the programme that we are coming together to renew fellowship after so long and to encourage each other in our most holy faith.

We are looking forward to hear what God has to say through His servants as set out in the programme, especially from our Guest Speakers, our Pastors, all session leads, facilitators and all the dedicated ministries.

The Turning, London Hubs & Mission England

“The Turning is becoming a phenomena. What looked, from a distance, like a technique, on closer inspection is

revealed to be a gift from heaven. A gift that miraculously empowers ordinary Christians, enabling them to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. The fact that we are looking at the possibility of reaching over 3 million people across 6 nations in 5 years bears witness to the enduring power of

the gospel.” Yinka Oyekan, Turning Team Leader

In the first year, across 11 towns and cities, The Turning has equipped pastors and believers to live under this grace. This has been done by mobilising unity movements and churchesin effective evangelism and follow up strategies, resulting in:

• Over 7,000 people having responded to the invitation to pray to accept Christ on the streets

• Over 2,000 Christians trained to effectively evangelise

• Over 1,000 Christians trained to follow up and disciple the people who respond to the gospel

Over the following 3 years The Turning continued to expand across the UK and into Europe setting up teams in every place where God directed.

This will mean that many Christians will have been mobilised to effectively evangelise and as of end of 2020 16,531 people accept the invitation to pray to Christ as the first step of their journey into discipleship and a relationship with God.

The woman’s ministry has been immensely blessed by the theme ‘The Missional woman’. This message extends to every area of life from being missional at home, at work as well as on the street.The programme for the conference consists of team building activities, Q & A sessions and Health and Wellness sessions.This celebration will be a great opportunity to meet online with different women from other assemblies and find out what God specifically wants to say to women in 2021.

The Lord is continually doing mighty things upon the men and this conference will be yet another opportunity for men to gather and deepen their relationship with God and with others. The men’s meetings will consist of prayer, team building, Q& A and Health and Wellness.

We thank God for the youth ministry and all that He is doing in the lives of the younger generation. We continue to pray that God’s hand would be on each one of them. That they would be the voice of truth and hope as they influence those in their schools, jobs, businesses and the wider community.

Proverbs 22:6 is a well known verse which says ‘train up a child in the way that he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it’.The conference children’s programme will not only provide good training on Biblical principles but it will be sandwiched with lots of fun and enthusiasm. Not only that but the children will have the opportunity to worship online with other children.

The Apostolic Church encourages all to celebrate God’s great love. Whichever church you belong to we are keen for good singers to be included in this virtual choir project from all countries where The Apostolic Church is represented. During The Apostolic Church 100 years Centenary celebrations, we highlighted the nations where the gospel has been impact-ed by The Apostolic Church.
